Resources

As a service to our site users, we are listing here some of the books, film, and music that we have found helpful as people walk the road of grief. Many of the items listed below are the work of one of our amazing 2009 National Conference on Widowhood speakers. All of these resources address grief and recovery in a unique and personal way, therefore the contents of each reflect the beliefs and opinions of the artist and not necessarily of the SSLF or WidowsBond.com.

We hope you find these materials meaningful and helpful. For ease of purchase, you can just click on the item you would like to buy, and you will be taken directly to the page from which you can purchase it. New items are added periodically, so please check back soon.

MUSIC
Little Big Town member Kimberly Roads Schlapman lost her husband, Steven Roads in April of 2005. Several songs on both albums reflect the sorrow of loss, as well as the hope for tomorrow. Songs we loved: Lost, Stay, Only What You Make of It, Lonely Enough? great soulful music.
