Post subject: HOW DO I LIVE AGAN ?????????????
PostPosted: Sun May 10, 2009 1:04 am
Hi All
I thought taking care of my husband was hard on on me for the past three years after his stroke and bleeding in his brain and rehab. Now if only i had another chance i would grab it and run with it for dear life, because losing him took the bigest part of my life with him. Its like being lost in the dark, and i can't find my way back without him .I should have taken better care of him, I should not have told the doctors if he didn,t respond after the first try to let him go I could have taken care of np matter what condition he was in I feel so guilty I could have given him more time and its eating up inside .
Thank you everyone for listening to me.

Hi soullady. I too took care of my husband who was suffering from cancer. I think it is a normal to have regrets. I kept thinking (up to now) what if we had gone to other doctors, or other hospitals, had his care transferred, he could have been saved. He was treated at the VA. It was also very difficult to see him suffer as his cancer was very debilitating. He could not eat, swallow and his cancer erupted through the skin in his neck and would bleed. I miss him very much. Although I am trying to move on he will always be in my heart and not forgotten and that is one way I can honor him. I hope this website helps you as it did me. Cheryl
